Some operatives of the Nigerian Police, on Tuesday, in Abuja, reportedly brutalized Nigeria’s socialite, Charly Boy and other social activists and campaigners who demanded that President Buhari should Resume his duties or Resign.

The massive protest convened by Concerned Nigeria group led by Adeyanju Deji , and Nigeria musician, Charly Boy, demanding that President Buhari should either resume back to work or resign from office, which started on Monday in Abuja, turned messy on Tuesday as security operatives reportedly fired tear gas canisters and water at the protesters.
According to a multiple online reports, in the clash, one protester was reportedly injured while many defied the security operatives. The injured citizen was said to have been rushed to a clinic at the Federal Secretariat complex, a few kilometres from the scene of the incident.
It was gathered that the coalition members were having their 2nd-day sit-out at the Millennium park opposite the Unity Fountain in the Maitama area of Abuja when the armed policemen fired tear gas canisters to disperse them.
The participants, however, braved the assault and continued with their meeting for about an hour.
