On Saturday 10th June 2017, the children of 2 popular families, the Adeyeyes and Adedirans joined their children in holy matrimony, as the White wedding of their children took place in Lagos. The groom, Simon Adesola Adediran, is the son of Pastor A. J. Adediran and Mrs. E.A. Adediran, while the bride, Oluwaseun Adebisi is the daughter of ex-Minister and a prince from a royal family in Ikere-Ekiti, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye. The church service took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Gbagada, Lagos. Reception followed immediately and took place at M2 Arena Event Centre, Ogudu, Lagos.
It was attended by very important personalities. City People Society Reporter, MOTUNRAYO KESHIRO and Photo Journalist FEMI ADELEKE were there.
THE WEDDING TOOK PLACE INSIDE THE M2 ARENA EVENTS CENTRE
The colourful wedding took place inside the new M2 marquee at M2 Arena Association Avenue extension in Ogudu in Lagos. The venue is along the popular Alapere-Ogudu Expressway and the car park was filled to the brim. There was enough parking space which accommodated as many cars as possible.
The lovely hall was well decorated in snow white. It had over 2000 guests from the 2 families and every one had a place to sit. The transparent chavari chairs and blush pink table decorations all added beauty to the event.
OPENING PRAYER BY SENATOR BEN OBE
The event started some minutes past 1pm. The opening prayer was led by Senator Ben Obi, the National Secretary of People Democratic Party (PDP). He arrived the event early and spent many hours.
THE DAY WAS ALL ABOUT THE COUPLES
The newest couple in town Simon and Seun looked nice in their choice of outfit for the day which was very unique. The bride wore a very lovely and expensive shoes and she exuded opulence. The groom also wore an expensive suit with tie which looked so cute and regal on him.
CHAIRMAN OF THE OCCASION WAS GOV. SERIAKE DICKSON
Governor of Bayelsa, Seriake Dickson was the Chairman of the Ocassion. He was among the early callers who came all the way from Bayelsa to honour the bride’s father, Dayo Adeyeye. He was looking so radiant in his black native outfit matching it with black cap. He gave some words of encouragement and advice to the couples and took lovely pictures with the couples and their parents.

At the event were 3 royal fathers who came all the way from Ekiti. They are HRM Oba Adetunji Ajayi (the Arinjale of Ise Ekiti), HRM Oba Fasiku Ajibade and his pretty wife, Oloori Esther Fasiku (Elekole of Ikole Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Egbe-Oba) and HRM Oba Adejimi Adu Akigbudo Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom. They were all gorgeously dressed in their royal outfits to the event.

Adediran is a retired Assistant Head Teacher at Cheshiree Primary School, Ijokodo, Ibadan. Both parents were full of joy as they witnessed the day they have all been waiting for. Both parents dazzled in their various choice of outfit looking so unique and lovely on them.
